An old video of Kriti Sanon and her mother, Geeta Sanon, has resurfaced online amid persistent rumours about her romantic life, igniting public interest.
Geeta openly acknowledges in the video that she once hoped her daughter would get married much sooner and that she was worried about Kriti's marriage.
When asked whether her daughter’s marital status worried her, Geeta Sanon revealed, “Yeah, I used to tell her that by 23, she should be married… I used to think I got married late. See, by the time Nupur was born, I must be in my 30s then. So, I used to think that 23-24 is the right age."
Kriti's personal life has been in the news even as she continues to forge a brilliant career in the film industry as a National Award-winning actress. Entrepreneur Kabir Bahia has often been associated with her.
Social media has been buzzing about Kriti and Kabir's frequent international vacations together, despite neither of them having confirmed their relationship. According to sources close to Kriti, there have been rumours that the couple may even get married in 2025.
According to a report by India Today, a source close to the actress stated, “Where does Kriti even have the time this year? She’s in Delhi right now, fully focused on shooting for Aanand L Rai’s film for the next few months. And as soon as that’s done, she’s straight onto her next project —there’s barely a break in between."
The source added, “One of her biggest commitments right now is ‘Tere Ishk Mein’, where she plays Mukti. The film announcement video has already created a lot of buzz, and Kriti is completely invested in bringing Mukti to life. Once she wraps that up, she’s set to start work on a highly anticipated sequel, but it’s too early to share details. With so much going on work-wise, marriage is definitely not on the cards this year."
