Travor roasts Donald Trump

Host Trevor Noah made a bold statement at the 67th annual Grammy Awards, using his opening monologue to take a jab at US President Donald Trump’s immigration policies. Hosting the prestigious music event for the fifth consecutive year, Noah didn’t hold back as he addressed political changes in Washington with his signature wit.

Noah made a quick joke about the Trump administration's crackdown on illegal immigration. "We're going to be honoring the best in music as voted on by the 13,000 members of the Recording Academy," Noah said, "and 20 million illegal immigrants."

The South African comedian went on to comment on how he's going to enjoy the night because it "may be the last time I host anything in this country."

"I don’t know if you noticed, but there have been a few changes in Washington," he quipped. "So I’m going to enjoy tonight because it may be the last time I get to host anything in this country."
