Gauri Khan, one of India’s most influential interior designers, has launched her brand-new Experience Centre in the heart of Delhi. This marks a significant milestone in her 13-year design journey—one that has consistently balanced glamour with intimacy, and bold design with refined detail.
The Experience Centre, opened under her firm Gauri Khan Designs, is more than just a display of furniture or décor—it’s a deeply personal creative expression. “It’s not a store or a showroom,” Gauri Khan said.
“It’s a curated home, designed to feel warm, inviting, and emotionally resonant.” Every element in the space—from handpicked artworks to carefully calibrated lighting—reflects her meticulous attention to detail and evolved design sensibility.
Having begun her career with high-gloss finishes and bold contrasts, Gauri Khan’s aesthetic has matured over the years to include a richer focus on materiality and harmony. Yet, the dramatic flair that defined her early work still lingers, now softened by textures and tones that evoke comfort and luxury.
The Delhi centre is designed to offer an immersive journey into what personalised luxury truly feels like. The lower level opens into expansive zones, each styled with her signature furniture line to reflect realistic living environments. As guests walk through, they experience a sense of calm and space—an intentional contrast to the chaos of urban life. It’s a place where design feels lived-in, rather than displayed.
Gauri Khan, who also runs an interior design studio in Juhu, Mumbai, has collaborated with global brands like D’Decor and taken on several high-end residential and commercial projects. The Delhi centre, however, is what she calls her “most personal project” to date.
Looking ahead, she envisions taking the Experience Centre model to other cities and expanding into a holistic lifestyle offering. “Whether it’s a collaboration or a new space, the aim remains the same: to move people emotionally through design,” she says.
With this launch, Gauri Khan reaffirms her place as a pioneer in Indian interior design—leading not just with style, but with soul.
