Brad Pitt's F1 continues to do great business at both the Indian and overseas box offices. And there are no signs of slowing down. The film, which was released last Friday, has earned Rs 32 crore in six days of its release in India across all languages.
The trade website Sacnilk reports that the Brad Pitt starrer made a strong start at the Indian box office. The movie opened with good numbers and collected Rs 5.5 crore on the first day. And it picked up more pace on Saturday and Sunday with Rs 7.75 cr and Rs 8.15 crore, respectively.
The first Monday saw a dip in the collections, which was Rs 3.35 crore. But it continued its momentum and collected Rs 3.75 cr on Tuesday and Rs 3.5 crore on Wednesday taking the India collection to Rs 32 crore.
The film was released on June 27 and faced competition from Indian films such as Maa and Kannappa.
On Wednesday, July 2, F1 witnessed a decent response with evening and night shows getting 21.99% and 27.06% occupancy for English shows across India.
Its morning shows saw an occupancy of 8.64 percent, but it picked up in the afternoon with 17.10 percent.
The highest audience response came from major cities like Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi. Chennai saw an occupancy of 32.33 percent, followed by Hyderabad with 25.25%.

Worldwide, F1: The Movie has been smashing box office records and has raked in more than $140 million worldwide.
'F1: The Movie' premiered in the Middle East at Yas Marina Circuit on June 26 and has seen strong box office results, especially in the United Arab Emirates.
The film recorded a USD 2.7 million opening in the UAE, marking the biggest ever regional debut for a Brad Pitt film and for an Apple-backed title in the market.
F1 has been produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and F1 legend Lewis Hamilton; it is the story of Sonny Hayes, a retired Formula One driver played by Brad Pitt, who returns to the track. He then partners with a young racer, Joshua Pearce, played by Damson Idris, as they try to turn around the struggling ApxGP team’s performance.
This film is directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Plan B Entertainment, Jerry Bruckheimer Films, Monolith Pictures, Apple Studios, and Dawn Apollo Films.
F1 also stars Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Kerry Condon, and Damson Idris in pivotal roles.
