Madhurima Tuli, known for her memorable performances in films like Baby, is back on the big screen with Tehran, a film based on real-life incidents. In an exclusive conversation with Moneycontrol.com, she shared her journey, experiences, and future vision.

When asked how she connected with her role in Zee 5's Tehran, Madhurima said, "Firstly, it is based on true-based incidents. Yeah. And Vandana's character, again, I think is very relatable. Because I think every Indian, when a nation is in threat, every Indian is in this dilemma, like what is going to happen? So I think this character, who holds a lot of courage, a lot of resilience, a lot of patience. Yeah. And she's there for her family. You know, that's the most important thing and the most beautiful thing. So that's what connected me to her."

Reflecting on her hiatus from films, she added, "I honestly got a very... I think I got very high on Baby. So I kind of, yeah, rejected a few offers. And yeah, that took a backseat. Then I kind of disappeared from the film. But then, yes, 10 years back, again, I'm back on track. So hopefully now, I'm hoping that I'll do more projects."

Madhurima, who has shared screen space with both Akshay Kumar and John Abraham, spoke about her experience with them: "Honestly, there's not much difference. Both of them are very disciplined. I think they are very, very dedicated to their craft. Yes. And they are very sincere. I mean, and they're both fitness icons. And both of them had intense scenes. You know, I've had all intense... Very intense, amazing scenes. And both of them are very cooperative as an actor. They're very humble. So it didn't feel like, you know, you're working with the stars. It felt very, very natural. I mean, like... So I had a... Like, it was great working with both of them."

Speaking about memorable moments on set, she said, "I think Akshay Kumar and John Abrahams is the biggest takeaway. What else could it be? Yeah. But I think, yeah, that's the biggest takeaway, I would say. But honestly, both the teams were amazing. Like, they've made me feel so welcomed and so good about myself that I had a blast with the entire team. It felt like a family, you know?"
