The festival returns with a milestone edition: the 30th edition of EUFF, marking three decades of cinematic, cultural, and artistic exchange between Europe and India.
From October 31 to November 9, 2025, audiences in New Delhi will be treated to one of the the biggest and finest selections of European films ever brought to India. (The Times of India) After its leg in Delhi, the festival will travel to Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
The Delhi edition will be screened at multiple iconic cultural venues: India Habitat Centre, Instituto Cervantes, Goethe‑Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan and Liszt Institute – Hungarian Cultural Centre. This year, 28 acclaimed films from all EU member states plus Ukraine will be screened, in 29 different languages. (The Times of India) The selection promises a rich variety: award-winning stories exploring themes like resilience, identity, hope, family, and the celebration of life.
According to Hervé Delphin, Ambassador of the European Union to India, the festival is more than just screenings: it’s an invitation to engage with cinema that is “thought-provoking, inspiring, deeply human,” and a celebration of the long history of cooperation between European and Indian filmmakers.
Artur Zaborski, the festival curator, says the 2025 lineup is both bold and moving. It weaves together stories of identity, love, defiance, and hope, reflecting Europe as a living mosaic of emotions and experiences.
The Missile (Finland) delivers a darkly comic portrait of small-town life.
Dying (Germany) tackles heavy themes.
Matters of the Heart (Denmark) is an intimate story of family and reconciliation.
Happy (Austria) tells the moving story of an undocumented Indian father struggling to secure a future for his daughter.

All films will have English subtitles; entry is on a first-come, first-served basis, and some titles carry an 18+ rating.
