This sharp decline indicated the film's struggle to maintain momentum.
On the third day, Saturday, Double iSmart continued to face challenges at the box office, earning just Rs 1.3 crores, marking a further 13.33% decrease from the previous day. The early estimates for Sunday, the fourth day, show a minimal collection of Rs 1.07 crores, which is not enough to reverse the downward trend.
Despite its promising premise and the presence of popular actors like Ram Pothineni, Sanjay Dutt, and Kavya Thapar, Double iSmart has not managed to capture the audience's attention as expected. The total collection of Rs 11.22 crores after four days is significantly lower than anticipated, raising concerns about the film's ability to recover its production costs.
Directed by Puri Jagannadh and produced by Puri Connects, Double iSmart was expected to perform better given the star power and the director's previous successes. However, the film's box office numbers suggest that it may struggle to sustain itself in the coming weeks unless there is a significant positive shift in word-of-mouth or marketing efforts.
