The horror-comedy is doing very well abroad, even with the setback in India.

Diljit Dosanjh and Hania Aamir starrer Sardaar Ji 3 has remained in the spotlight ever since its trailer release, largely due to the backlash over the casting of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir.

Even though the decision caused controversy and prevented the movie from being released in theatres in India, Sardaar Ji 3 is still causing a stir at the global box office.

The horror-comedy is doing very well abroad, even with the setback in India.  According to Sacnilk, in just 10 days, the movie brought in an incredible Rs 42.60 crore from foreign markets, making it the highest-grossing Punjabi film of 2025 to date.

With a strong hold that indicates ongoing interest and positive word-of-mouth among global audiences, the film had a strong second weekend, earning about ₹9 crore, only 40% less than its first weekend.
