Sharing a photo of David in recovery, Victoria wrote a simple but touching caption: “Get well soon Daddy.” In another post, she revealed a sweet gesture—a bracelet she gifted him inscribed with the message “Get Well Soon,” a symbol of her love and encouragement during his recovery.

According to a report by The Sun, David had been silently battling pain from an old injury sustained during a match against South Africa in 2003. A source close to the family revealed, “David had been in pain for years but thought nothing of it. He just kept going until, in recent months, it became quite unbearable.” Medical scans eventually revealed that a pin from the original treatment—meant to dissolve over time—had not done so, prompting the need for corrective surgery.

“Victoria was at his bedside post-op and all went well. He’s in great spirits,” the source added, indicating the procedure was successful and David is now on the road to recovery.
