BTS' oldest member, Jin, recently made an appearance on tvN's variety show Handsome Guys. He made his acting debut in Netflix's Kian's Bizarre B&B and has become a popular celebrity among producers, who feel his humor and easygoing charisma can instantly elevate any show.
The Epiphany singer went on a food-themed excursion around Seoul's Hannam-dong neighborhood with Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Dong Hyun, Lee Yi Kyung, Shin Seung Ho, and Oh Sang Uk.
While conversing with the team, he disclosed the names of two BTS members who are giant foodies and would be ideal for this type of trip.
Fans were thrilled to see him return, especially since he appeared in the show's inaugural episode.
Jin, who was hailed for his "true brother" relationship with the show's actors, confessed during the chat how at ease he felt among them, even referring to the lads as "like my team."
In one scene, the cast was sitting around a table eating food when the conversation moved to which BTS members might fit in with the Handsome Guys team.
Jin stated, "I believe the theme of the program matches Jungkook. Jungkook eats pretty well."
The group's youngest member clearly enjoys food, as seen by appearances on numerous BTS variety shows such as In the SOOP and Run BTS, when the Euphoria crooner was seen nagging Jin to make something nice for him and even messing about in the kitchen trying different recipes.
Next, Jin stated, "I believe V would complement the team's atmosphere perfectly. He has a laid-back disposition and can handle jokes well." Taehyung previously featured in a cooking reality show called Jinny's Kitchen.
Fellow "Big Eaters" Shin Seung Ho and Oh Sang Uk became overjoyed after hearing this intriguing piece of information, and Sang Uk, who is a 96-liner, joked that since V is 95 and Jungkook is 97, they’re technically his juniors, so they should come on the show.
“Since I’m ‘96, you guys can appear on the show as my juniors.” Kim Dong Hyun then added, “Will you be okay after this?” Jin responded, “
Oh Sang Uk asked, “Should I send him a video messaEven I don’t speak carelessly to Jungkook.” Even as his hyung, being born in 1992, the oldest, he admitted that he is careful with his words when it comes to Jungkook, knowing how protective his fans are.ge? I hope you can join us on the show once. We’re even willing to follow you abroad, so please let us know if you have the time. We will go to you.” He bowed.
But their fans replied to the chat, claiming they don't mind Jin bossing about Jungkook and V since they appreciate their banter, and they even applauded the Astronaut crooner's gentle and caring attitude with the members.
One fan said: “But we love when you school Jungkookie like an absolute hyung.”
Another said, “We are not that scary when it comes to members—we are protective of each one of you.”
Jin, who had recently returned from military duty, launched his first solo globe tour in April, which included stops in South Korea, Japan, California, Texas, Florida, New Jersey, London, and Amsterdam, among other places.
The trip will continue until August. Meanwhile, RM, Jungkook, Taehyung, Suga, and Jimin will be released from duty in June, bringing all seven BTS members back together.
