Actress Kriti Sanon celebrated this year’s Karwa Chauth in the sweetest way possible — not with red sarees or glamorous selfies, but with love, laughter, and a beautiful mother-daughter moment.
The Adipurush star swapped the film sets for home this time, taking on a special role — that of her mother Geeta Sanon’s personal mehendi artist.
Sharing a glimpse of the intimate moment on her Instagram Stories, Kriti was seen sitting cross-legged, carefully applying mehendi on her mother’s hand.
Dressed in a simple black outfit, with her hair falling freely, Kriti looked completely focused on her task, capturing a rare candid side of her usually glitzy life.
She captioned the story with warmth and humour, writing, “Meet Mom’s personal mehendi artist! @geeta_sanon. Happy Karva Chauth .” The short clip was set to Sachet–Parampara’s soulful track.
While she may have spent Karwa Chauth at home, Kriti has had an exciting few weeks professionally.
The actress recently wrapped up the Sicily schedule of her upcoming film Cocktail 2, directed by Homi Adajania.
Sharing photos from the scenic shoot, Kriti wrote, “Ciao my Bellas. And just like that we’ve wrapped #TheSicilianChapter of #Cocktail2. Sunshine, rain and ending with a beautiful Rainbow.”
The pictures showed the actress enjoying desserts with her crew, soaking in the breathtaking Italian landscapes, and celebrating the film’s wrap in style.

Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna star in Cocktail 2, the upcoming follow-up to the 2012 movie that reimagines the romantic love triangle.
Luv Ranjan wrote the story, which is presently being filmed in Sicily by director Homi Adajania. It will combine romance, drama, fashion, and glitz for a theatrical debut in the second half of 2026.
Kriti has also been on a roll outside films — her skincare brand Hyphen continues to make waves in the beauty industry.
Kriti recently turned a producer as her film Do Patti alongside Kajol was debuted on OTT platform Netflix.
