Whether it's her popular films, her witty one-liners, or her raw Instagram photos, Farah Khan has always had a talent for entertaining crowds.
But over the past year, it’s her cooking vlogs that have captured the internet’s heart. And while celebrity guests often drop by her kitchen, it’s her playful banter with her cook, Dilip, that has truly made the series a fan favourite.
What started as a fun side project has now turned Dilip into a star in his own right. He’s so popular that he now enjoys something usually reserved for Bollywood bigwigs — his own vanity van.
Fashion designer Ken Ferns revealed the milestone in a behind-the-scenes video from the set of Pati Patni Aur Panga, where Farah was scheduled to appear. In the clip, Ken greets her warmly before panning the camera to another van parked opposite hers.
With a laugh, he says: “Very good morning ma’am, welcome to Pati Patni Aur Panga today. Along with, look whose van is opposite your van. Dilip, mubarak ho, tahe dil se. See you soon.” Farah, never one to miss a beat, quipped on Instagram: “Thank you Ken (laughing emoji) can’t wait to meet everyone at shoot with Dilip.”
The show itself, hosted by Munawar Faruqui and Sonali Bendre, features celebrity couples — including Swara Bhasker–Fahad Ahmad and Rubina Dilaik–Abhinav Shukla — testing their relationships through quirky challenges. But Dilip’s new-found “star treatment” ended up stealing some of the limelight.
His journey, though, hasn’t been easy. Dilip disclosed in one of Farah's vlogs that he used to work in Delhi and make only ₹300.

He started out making ₹20,000 a month before joining Farah, which changed everything. His income has increased over time as a result of Farah giving him a share of her YouTube earnings in addition to paying him fairly. She has also made an investment in his children's futures by enrolling them in English-medium schools. One of them is even working towards a culinary diploma in hopes of working in upscale hotels and restaurants.
Launched in 2024, Farah's vlogs focus more on genuine moments—humor, banter, and heart—than recipes.
Since then, she has branched out into travel vlogs, bringing Dilip along on culinary excursions, such as a beloved trip to the Maldives.
