Ekta Kapoor tops Filmfare Awards nominations in 13 categories, leads with The Buckingham Murders, Crew

With a wonderful career that lasts over thirty years, Ekta Kapoor is a prominent figure in Indian entertainment industry. She has been the driving force behind many iconic and culturally important television, film, and OTT projects and is known for her creative vision.

Ekta Kapoor received a total of 13 nominations across films at the 70th Filmfare Awards and is leading the list with her three films-Buckingham Murders, Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 and Crew.
Her movie Buckingham Murders got 5 nominations with Hansal Mehta nominated for the Critics Award for Best Film, Kareena Kapoor Khan for the Best Actor (Female), Ketan Sodha for the Best Background Score, Emma Dalesman for the Best Cinematography, and Mandar Kulkarni nominated for the Best Sound Design.

On the other hand, Love Sex Aur Dhokha got 5 nominations in which Prateek Vats, Shubham and Dibakar Banerjee were nominated for the Best Story, Tiya Tejpal for the Best Production Design, Tanmay Bhattacherjee for the Best Sound Design, Paramita Ghosh for the Best Editing and Abhinav Singh was nominated for the Best Debut Male.

Ekta Kapoor’s Crew got 3 nominations in which Kareena Kapoor Khan was nominated for the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female), Tabu for the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) and Manisha Melwani, Chandani Whabi, Meagan Concessio and Abhilasha Devnani Baweja were nominated for the Best Costume.
