Vijay Vikram Singh, the renowned voice artist and actor who has been the narrator for Bigg Boss for 15 years, is facing a disturbing backlash from fans of fitness influencer Rajat Dalal. Following Rajat's eviction during the Bigg Boss 18 finale, some fans have directed their frustration toward Vijay, mistakenly believing that he is the voice of Bigg Boss himself. The situation has escalated to the point where Vijay is receiving death threats and abusive messages online.
The controversy began when Rajat Dalal was eliminated in third place, sparking outrage among his followers. Many fans labeled the eviction as "unfair" and "fixed," blaming the show's creators for the outcome. This outrage quickly turned into personal attacks on Vijay Vikram Singh, who plays a significant but often misunderstood role in the show. Some social media users, not understanding his position, began to target him and his family with hateful messages, even going as far as issuing death threats. In one particularly chilling post, a fan wrote, “You did wrong with Rajat Dalal; your family and kids will never be happy,” prompting Vijay to disable comments on his posts to protect his privacy.
Despite being only the voice that narrates tasks and timings to the Bigg Boss audience, Vijay Vikram Singh found himself caught in the crossfire. He clarified his role in a video message back in December 2024, stating, "Please stop abusing me in the comments section and messages. I just narrate the tasks and timings for the audience in Bigg Boss. I know nothing about the voice that speaks to the contestants. I don’t know if it’s a machine or a real person. So I request the audience to refrain from abusing me." His message, however, did little to calm the angry fans, as another wave of hate messages flooded in after Digvijay Rathee's eviction. In response, he shared another video, reiterating, "Please stop sending hate messages. I am the second voice of Bigg Boss, not the Bigg Boss."

Vijay Vikram Singh’s plea to fans for understanding remains unheard by some, and he continues to bear the brunt of online abuse. Despite the personal toll this has taken, Singh has remained professional and consistent in his work, even appearing in popular web series such as The Family Man (seasons 1 and 2), Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story, and The Trial, alongside his work on Bigg Boss. The situation has cast a spotlight on the darker side of fan culture and the consequences of misplaced outrage in the world of reality television.
