Weekend Ka Vaar is never short of drama, but this week’s Bigg Boss 19 episode mixed emotions, laughter, and a wildcard surprise. Salman Khan set the tone by wishing Neelam Giri and Baseer Ali on their birthdays. A sweet start, followed by full-on entertainment. Natalia and Mridul even danced to Hogayi Tu Balle Balle, giving the house a rare festive vibe.
But like always, things didn’t stay light for long. About the “poha” fight between Farhana and Baseer that took place in the house few days back, Salman raised the topic, he reminded contestants about the floods in Punjab, Himachal, and Uttarakhand, telling them, “This is a time to stand united,” and talked about not wasting food.
On a lighter note, Salman shared happy news about choreographer Awez Darbar, whose brother welcomed a baby boy with Gauahar Khan. “Aapka darbar badte ja raha hai,” Salman quipped, leaving everyone laughing.
Animal Activity Sparks Drama
Next came the quirky “animal activity,” where housemates compared each other to animals. Kunickaa gave Tanya a crocodile, calling her tears magarmach ke aansu. Tanya hit back by calling Nehal a cunning fox (lomdi) and even compared Farhana to a snake. Gaurav added spice, calling Kunickaa a lion and handing Tanya and Neelam cubs.
Not stopping there, Amaal called Farhana a goat (bakri), but saved his harshest jab for Abhishek, giving him a pig (suar). Neelam chose eagle for Farhana, pushing her into the spotlight yet again.
Salman then brought in Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui, who lit up the stage with his trademark humor. Munawar roasted the housemates in his playful style before welcoming guests Kullu and Sahiba Bali. Adding to the buzz, he revealed that a hashtag around “Bahana making of Baseer and Farhana” was already trending outside. The segment wrapped up with quirky statements and rapid-fire questions that kept both the contestants and the audience entertained.
Wildcard Alert: Shehbaaz Enters
Then came the big moment, Shehnaaz Gill joined Salman on stage, making an emotional request: “Aapne itne careers banaye hain, mera bhi sapna pura kardo.” Enter Shehbaaz, her brother, who was not selected by the audience in the votes, and Mridul won the fans voting and enterted on Grand premiere, but Shehbaaz got another chance and became the first wildcard entry of Bigg Boss 19.
BB App Room Twist and No Elimination
The BB App room reopened, and housemates got mixed fates. Awez, Neelam, Tanya, Pranit, and Amaal were denied access. Kunickaa, however, got two tempting options, escape elimination or avoid household duties. Mridul’s access was granted too, and he picked safety over gifting a rose.
By night’s end, eviction nerves were high. Awez, Mridul, Kunickaa, Tanya, and Amaal stood on the block. Kunickaa received the least votes and was declared evicted—but she stunned everyone by using her Suraksha Kavach. Result? No elimination this weekend.
Emotions and a Hint for Next Week
The rollercoaster didn’t end there. Nehal broke down, saying her actions were being misunderstood. Baseer and Farhana stepped in, consoling her. Shehbaaz’s tattoo of Sidharth Shukla also became an emotional talking point among the housemates.
Before signing off, Salman teased that next weekend will be even bigger. “Do Jolly aa rahe hain,” he said, but not confirming Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s entry to promote Jolly LLB 3.
No elimination, wildcard entry, personal jibes, and high emotion, Bigg Boss 19’s Weekend Ka Vaar was pure chaos in true BB style.
