Bigg Boss 19 host Salman Khan will skip this week’s Weekend Ka Vaar episode as he is busy with the shoot of his upcoming movie Battle of Galwan in Ladakh.
Salman Khan was spotted at the Leh airport and began shooting for the film on Tuesday, and the schedule is packed with intense action sequences.
Given the harsh weather conditions in Ladakh, director Apoorva Lakhia reportedly wants to finish the most challenging portions before winter sets in. That means Salman won’t be flying back to Mumbai for the show this weekend.
But the stage won't be left empty, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi. The duo, who are already in the news for their chemistry in the upcoming Jolly LLB 3, will step in as guest hosts for the weekend episodes airing on September 13 and 14. It’s an unusual pairing for Bigg Boss, and fans on social media are already buzzing about how the two actors will bring their own style to the show.
Meanwhile, Salman’s new look for Battle of Galwan has also caught attention. Leaner, sporting a moustache, and dressed for high-octane military drama, the first glimpses from the Ladakh shoot have left fans curious. The film also stars Chitrangada Singh in a pivotal role.

While Salman’s absence might disappoint a section of Bigg Boss loyalists, the channel seems confident Akshay and Arshad will keep the energy alive.
