Bigg Boss 19 just wrapped up one of its most dramatic captaincy tasks yet, and the house is buzzing. Baseer Ali has officially become the new captain after a nail-biting showdown against Abhishek. But honestly, the captaincy was just one part of the chaos.
The episode had everything—injuries, arguments, alliances breaking, and some classic Bigg Boss-level drama between Kunickaa and Tanya.
Dream Machine task kicks Off Captaincy race
The evening started in the garden, where Bigg Boss revealed the “Dream Machine” task, which was the Captaincy davedaari task. Housemates had to accept unusual conditions by pulling the lever and saying, “I accept the shart.” Whoever succeeded became a davedaar for captaincy.
Pranit acted as the sanchalak. In the first round, Baseer snatched the opportunity and became the first contender by sacrificing two apples from the weekly ration. The second round turned messy, as between running Mridul got injured, which led some blood out of his mouth and was rushed to the medical room. Abhishek, meanwhile, was accused by Nehal and Baseer of getting too physical, but still managed to secure his spot as the second contender as the decision was taken by Pranit.
The third round fell apart when Nehal refused to accept the condition of shutting down the gym for the season. Bigg Boss lost his cool and canceled the round entirely. That left only Baseer and Abhishek as contenders.
Fights, Fun, and Farhana Factor
Even outside the task, sparks flew. Baseer said to Farhana, claiming he wouldn’t assign her any work if he became captain. Farhana later told Nehal she found Baseer’s actions “made-up” and called him out for overacting. Their banter took a surprising turn when Baseer asked her out for dinner outside the house, to which Farhana replied "aapko lagta hai yaha se bahar nikalke, mein aapse milungi, abhi bahot saray dynamics badlengay cheezo ke, toh mein nahi chahti koi dil meri wajah se tut k jaye yahan se"
Meanwhile, the house tried to lighten the mood with a cute dance to celebrate Neelam’s birthday. A fun pillow fight broke out in the garden, showing the housemates can still share light moments amid the tension, but cause it is Bigg Boss, chaos wasn't too far.
Food issues returned to haunt them the next morning. Abhishek, already teased for his midnight kitchen raids by his own friends, clashed with Nehal over meals. The back-and-forth insults became another highlight of the morning.
Kunickaa vs Tanya: Friends turn foes
The real drama unfolded between Kunickaa and Tanya. Kunickaa made sharp remarks about Tanya, even calling her “mentally unstable” during a conversation with Neelam in the Kitchen.
Later, she openly admitted she would prefer Tanya as a daughter-in-law over Farhana, when she was asked this hypothetical question, but her comments kept stirring the pot.
Things got heated when Tanya confronted Kunickaa about gaslighting accusations. Tanya asked her to address issues privately instead of humiliating her in front of others. Kunickaa shot back, calling Tanya’s behavior irritating and saying, “If you think I’m opinionated, stay away from me.”, she even added that because of you I gave up my Captaincy, cause housemates called me an unfair Captain. Later Tanya, frustrated, told Neelam that people only talk to Kunickaa out of respect for her age and said "Agar mein 10 jawab dedungi vo rone lagengi."
By the end of the day, the two surprisingly hugged it out, leaving fans guessing if the peace will last, but later Kunickaa even called Tanya a “chant” during the captaincy task.
Baseer clinches Captaincy after physical showdown
The final captaincy battle was no less than a war. Housemates had to sit on stools tied with cloth while Baseer and Abhishek fought to secure them. Alliances became clear, strategies unfolded, and things got rough. At one point, Abhishek even broke a stool in the heat of the moment.
Despite the chaos, Bigg Boss asked the decision to Mridul, he declared Baseer as the winner, and he became the new captain of the house. Bigg Boss then dropped the twist: as captain, Baseer won’t have to do any household chores himself. With that, Baseer officially took charge, marking a major shift in power inside the house.
The episode ended with the big question: will Baseer’s reign as captain bring more unity, or just more fireworks? Or will he also give up her Captaincy juse like Kunickaa did.
