Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor has disabled comments on his Instagram profile after becoming the latest target of internet humor. The decision came after a five-second clip from a 2017 Half Girlfriend press event resurfaced, sparking a meme storm that quickly spiraled out of control.
The viral video, originally a candid moment with co-star Shraddha Kapoor, shows Arjun staring blankly during the press interaction. Meme creators wasted no time stripping the clip of its original audio and replacing it with “Ho Underworld” by Dada Sadhu, a track known for its edgy street-style beat. The quirky combination struck a chord with social media users, giving birth to what fans now call the “Arjun Kapoor meme song.”
Soon, the clip began flooding Instagram and Twitter feeds, as users looped Arjun’s vacant stare into countless scenarios, creating reels and parodies that spread like wildfire.
The actor’s own Instagram posts—many of them unrelated, including pictures from his ongoing London holiday with cousin Mohit Marwah, designer Arpita Mehta, and stylist Kunal Rawal—were soon bombarded with references to the viral meme. Cousin Sonam Kapoor also joined the trip, which included dinners, shopping outings, and stylish photo sessions.
Despite the light-hearted vacation, the flood of meme-related comments prompted Arjun to switch off comments on all his recent posts.

On the work front, Arjun Kapoor was last seen in Mere Husband Ki Biwi, a romantic comedy featuring Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh. Released in February this year, the film received mixed reviews and failed to make a mark at the box office.
Prior to that, Arjun appeared in The Ladykiller, a dark romantic thriller where he portrayed a troubled lover caught in a dangerous web of passion and betrayal.
