Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor marked his 40th birthday in a meaningful and creative way — by gifting himself a new tattoo that carries a personal reminder. The actor opted for the word “SMILE” inked on his hand, symbolising a shift towards embracing positivity and joy.

Arjun posted a video of the memorable birthday moment to Instagram. In the video, he enters a tattoo parlour, looks at the designs, and ultimately chooses the word "SM :) E." To heighten the moment's emotional undertone, he decided to use a remix of the soulful classic Jeena Issi Ka Naam Hai as the video's soundtrack.

In the video, Arjun can be heard saying, “Apparently, I don’t smile enough,” before joking about his moody reputation. “And I am grumpy all the time. So from being grumpy, to being more smiley. Haso Jiyo Muskarayo, kya pata kal ho naa ho.” His choice of tattoo and the accompanying reflection shows a deeper, more introspective side to the actor as he enters a new decade of life.
