Gen Z star Ahaan Panday is riding on the success of his debut film, Saiyaara. He has received widespread praise for his performance and has recently received compliments from veteran actor Anupam Kher.
The seasoned actor assured his fans on Instagram on Sunday that there is no generational difference between him and the "Saiyaara" star by posting a photo of the two of them together.
Alongside the selfie, Anupam Kher extended a warm welcome to the young actor in Bollywood. He penned in the caption, “NO GENERATION GAP HERE! Welcome #AhaanPandey to this wonderful jungle of creativity, fun, success, failure, blood rush, excitements, disappointments, joy rides, awards, rewards and lots of ups and downs.”
The veteran actor added, “May you have a long long innings in this magical world of madness called cinema! Jai Ho! #Saiyara #Actor."
The two actors in the photo were beaming in the photo shared on Instagram. Ahaan sported a hoodie to keep his look casual, while the veteran actor wore formal attire and finished it off with a blazer.
Ahaan made his screen debut opposite Aneet Padda in the blockbuster film, Saiyaara. The movie had a fantastic debut, earning Rs 21.5 crore in India.
The director of "Saiyaara," Mohit Suri, previously revealed that he has not been able to spend time with his family because of the film's success. He spent his evenings monitoring the theatre's attendance, occupancy, and foot traffic for his movie's evening screenings.
Saiyaara is about a young writer named Vaani, played by Aneet Padda and a troubled musician named Krish, portrayed by Ahaan Panday, as they fall in love while working on a song together. When Vaani is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's disease and starts to lose her memories, their relationship is put to the test. The movie ends with Krish looking for Vaani after she disappears.
