Amitabh Bachchan sends wishes to son Abhishek Bachchan ahead of Housefull 5 release

After the highly anticipated release of the Housefull 5 trailer, megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently voiced his support for his son, Abhishek Bachchan.

Since its release earlier this week, the trailer has created a lot of buzz among both fans and the industry. The Housefull franchise, which combines extravagant humour with opulent cinematic settings, has been a favourite among viewers for the past fifteen years since the first movie was released in 2010.

Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the veteran actor responded to a fan page dedicated to the film and wrote, “Bhaiyu...all prayers,” extending his blessings to Abhishek as the film gears up for release.

Tarun Mansukhani's Housefull 5 promises a fresh take on the franchise's trademark humour. The teaser, which was released on 30 April, shows a billionaire (played by veteran actor Nana Patekar) celebrating his 100th birthday at an opulent yacht party.

But when the tycoon passes away just before his will is revealed, the joyous occasion takes a sinister turn. Three visitors who have been drugged and are unable to recall their own identities are at the centre of this bizarre mystery.
