As the epic sci-fi film Kalki 2898 AD completes one year since its release, fans were delighted to see megastar Amitabh Bachchan marking the occasion with an emotional message. The film, which released in 2024, was a massive box office success and featured a power-packed cast including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Amitabh Bachchan himself. Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD became one of the most ambitious and visually grand films in Indian cinema.

To celebrate the film’s anniversary, Amitabh Bachchan re-shared a post from Vyjayanthi Movies on X (formerly Twitter), and expressed his heartfelt gratitude for being part of such a monumental cinematic project. His message, though brief, carried deep emotions and hinted at a potential return in the much-anticipated sequel.

“My honoured privilege to be asked to be a part of it ... one that I admired and respected the blessings of Vijayanti films and the elders that ran and connected with it … ever to be a part of it any day again, IF THEY WERE TO EVER TO ASK,” Bachchan wrote, subtly suggesting that he would gladly return if invited for Kalki 2.

While fans were initially thrilled by the possibility of seeing Big B reprise his role in the sequel, many couldn’t help but notice something peculiar—his tweet didn’t include his signature numbering system. For years, Amitabh Bachchan has famously numbered each of his tweets in a running sequence, often with a prefix like “T 1234,” making it a quirky tradition followed by his online followers.

The absence of this number in his latest post quickly became a talking point. Instead of focusing solely on the exciting sequel hint, fans flooded the comment section, playfully trolling the superstar for forgetting to number his tweet. Some fans even urged him to delete and repost the message with the proper numbering, sticking to the long-standing tradition that has become part of Bachchan’s social media identity.
