A new video circulating on social media shows the actor home after spending a night in jail, with his grandmother visibly emotional as she performs a ritual to ward off the evil eye.

The video has sparked further attention, highlighting the emotional toll the incident has taken on the actor and his family, as they try to cope with the aftermath of the tragic event.Allu Arjun was arrested on Friday and was released on Saturday morning. Several pictures and videos of him returning home surfaced on social media, which showed his family extremely emotional.

One such video captures the actor’s reunion with his grandmother, where she performs the ‘nazar utarna’ ritual (to ward off the evil eye) before he enters their home.

The actor was taken into custody at his home on Friday in connection with the death of a fan during the premiere of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule. A minor who was injured in the stampede remains in critical condition.
