The severe flooding in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana has caused widespread devastation, leaving many residents facing hardship. In the face of the devastating floods, several Telugu stars lend a helping hand, with many donating substantial sums to the CM relief fund.
Megastar Chiranjeevi, in a heartfelt post on X (formerly Twitter), shared his sorrow over the tragic loss of lives and the hardships brought on by the floods, while also announcing his donation to aid the affected. He donated a total of Rs 1 crore to the Chief Ministers' Relief Funds of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, giving Rs 50 lakh to each state.
Allu Arjun has also donated Rs 1 crore to the CM Relief Funds of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, demonstrating his solidarity with the flood-affected people. Taking to Instagram, Allu Arjun announced his contribution to the CM Relief Funds, stating, "I'm saddened by the loss and suffering caused by the devastating rains in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In these challenging times, I humbly donate Rs 1 crore in total to the CM Relief Funds of both states to support the relief efforts. Praying for everyone's safety."
Joining Allu Arjun in the humanitarian cause, Prabhas, the Kalki 2898 AD actor will also donate a sum of Rs 1 crore to the CM Relief Funds.
Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan, who also serves as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, contributed Rs 1 crore to the relief efforts. In addition to his donation to the CM Relief Fund, he has been actively involved in encouraging others to support the rebuilding of the flood-affected areas.
Besides the well-known names, numerous Tollywood actors and filmmakers have generously donated to the CM Relief Funds of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Jr NTR, Vishwak Sen, Siddhu Jonnalagadda, and filmmakers like Naga Vamsi, S Radhakrishna, and Trivikram Srinivas are among those who have contributed to the relief efforts.
