Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has finally touched down in France for the much-awaited 2025 Cannes Film Festival, accompanied by her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.
A video posted by the actress's Instagram fan page has gone viral, demonstrating the warm reception she received at Nice Airport. This puts an end to any earlier speculation that she might not be attending this year's festival and signifies her arrival at the esteemed event.
Fans speculated about Aishwarya's attendance at Cannes after seeing a video of her and her husband, Abhishek Bachchan, dancing at a Mumbai wedding. Her presence at the airport, however, attests to her participation in this year's festival.
While her daughter Aaradhya looks equally stylish in a black coat, Aishwarya is seen wearing a stylish navy blue long trench coat. At the airport, Aishwarya shakes hands with a man who welcomes her, and the two are greeted with warmth. After that, Aishwarya leads the way with her daughter at her side as they make their way to their car.

Aishwarya mentioned how much Aaradhya loves the experience in a previous interview with Film Companion. “It is really about just being together, it’s familiar to her, she knows everybody here, it is really about like reuniting with friends, coming back here to Cannes, it is an experience that is so familiar to her,” she explained.

Aishwarya further elaborated, “She is a lot like me in that sense that we are people’s people. It begins with that. She loves the play, she loves the vibe. Am sure she gets the fact that this is really a film festival. It is really about the world of cinema. It is wonderful to see in our kids that there is respect, there is recognition of this amazing work of cinema and am sure it is all getting soaked in (in Aaradhya).”
