Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan attended Manoj Kumar’s funeral on April 5 to pay their final respects. However, Amitabh Bachchan met Salim Khan on his way back as he also came to pay respects to the legendary actor.

The video of the moment went viral on social media. The video also showed that the paparazzi crowded around them in an overly aggressive manner. Abhishek was left frustrated with the photographers’ behaviour, which led to a tense encounter.

The actor went close to the photographers and asked them to give some privacy in the moment of grief. However, Amitabh Bachchan looked back briefly but chose not to react, continuing on to greet Salim Khan.
In the video, Amitabh Bachchan can be seen approaching Salim Khan, gently holding his hands and exchanging a few words. They embraced warmly and had a brief conversation before Amitabh Bachchan turned to leave for his car, with Abhishek close behind.

For the unversed, Manoj Kumar died on April 4 at the age of 87. He has been under medical care since February 21 due to chronic heart-related complications. The late actor’s final rites were held at the Vile Parle crematorium, where he was honored with a Guard of Honour, signifying the end of an era in Indian cinema.
