A.R. Rahman meets Harry Potter's Tom Felton aka Draco Malfoy at TIFF premiere of Hansal Mehta's Gandhi

Harry Potter actor Tom Felton is all set to make his Bollywood debut with the upcoming Gandhi series, which was recently premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Award-winning singer A.R. Rahman is scoring the music for the Hansal Mehta series. He also attended the TIFF 2025, where he met Felton.

Rahman took to his official Instagram handle and shared a selfie with Felton, who played the role of Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series. Sharing the selfie, Rahman penned in the caption, “@t22felton is a major part of the #Gandhi series I am scoring which premiered  Yesterday at @tiff_net @hansalmehta @applausesocial @pratikgandhiofficial.”
The photo featured a text, “With Draco…” In the pic, the duo smiled for the cameras with Felton pointing his finger at Rahman. The singer took the selfie and flashed a bright smile.

Meanwhile, Gandhi recently created history and became the first-ever Indian series to be showcased at TIFF. The first two episodes of the series premiered for the global audience.

The series stars Pratik Gandhi as Mahatma Gandhi. Backed by Sameer Nair's Applause Entertainment, the upcoming series will also feature Bhamini Oza as Kasturba Gandhi and Felton as Josiah Oldfield.

Gandhi is based on renowned historian and author Ramachandra Guha's books, titled Gandhi Before India and Gandhi: The Years That Changed the World.
