Telangana CM Revanth Reddy seeks help from ‘big brother’ PM Modi for development of state

Asking PM Modi for metro rail funds, Revanth Reddy referred to him as 'big brother'

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on March 4 referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as ‘big brother’ and said Telangana will develop only if it follows the Gujarat model.

He said, "PM is like a big brother and any state can develop with  his help and support. If Telangana wants to develop, it has to follow the Gujarat model."

Reddy said that he will no longer fight against the Centre and will join PM Modi’s vision of making India a 5-trillion-dollar economy.

Reddy said, “The five metropolitan city – Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad have contributed in PM Modi’s five-trillion-dollar economy dream.”

He said Hyderabad and Telangana will continue to assist the Centre in the country's development as he requested funds for the metro rail project.
