Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaking at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi on June 4 said that for the first time since 1962, a government has secured a third consecutive term, emphasising people's overwhelming confidence in BJP and the NDA.

"After 1962, for the first time a government has won the mandate for a third consecutive term," PM Modi said.

The PM called the Lok Sabha election results a triumph of the people, democracy, and faith in the Constitution.

Beginning his victory speech with 'Jai Jagannath', the PM expressed gratitude to the people of Odisha for giving the BJP a clear mandate to form its first government in the state. He praised the NDA's performance in Andhra Pradesh under Chandrababu Naidu and in Bihar under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Additionally, he commended the Election Commission for efficiently conducting the world's largest election. He also acknowledged the sacrifices of BJP workers in Kerala, where the party secured a significant win.
