BJP's Vinod Tawde Accused Of 'Buying' Votes | BJP Calls Claim Baseless | EC Files F.I.R

The Election Commission filed an FIR against Maharashtra's BJP general secretary Vinod Tawde after he was accused of distributing cash for votes in Palghar district by the Bahujan Vikas Aghadi (BVA). This comes just one day ahead of the Assembly elections in the state. The party accused Tawde of carrying Rs 5 crore in his bag. In a video, BVA workers can be seen storming into the Vivanta Hotel in Nalasopara during a meeting between the BJP leader and the BJP's candidate from Nalasopara Rajan Naik.
