The state government of Telangana has released the application form for Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS-TET) 2024.
Online applications are invited from eligible candidates, who intend to be teachers for classes 1 to 8, for appearing in the exam. Aspirants can apply online for TS TET 2024 to be held online as a Computer Based Test (CBT) from May 20 to June 3. The last date to apply is April 10.
All candidates who possess DEl Ed/ DEd/BEd/Language Pandit or equivalent qualifications and those pursuing the final year of the said courses with the requisite percentage of marks obtained can appear for TS TET 2024.
Aspirants who qualified in the earlier TETs can also apply if they desire improvement over their previous score.
TS TET 2024 will be conducted in two papers viz Paper-I and Paper-II. Candidates, who intend to be teachers for classes 1 to 5 have to appear for Paper I and those who intend to be teachers for classes 6 to 8 have to appear for Paper II. The candidates who intend to be teachers for all classes from 1 to 8 can appear for Paper I and Paper II.
The exam fee appearing for a single paper (only Paper I or only Paper II) is Rs 1,000. Candidates intending to appear for both papers have to pay a fee of Rs 2,000. They can pay the fee online at schooledu.telangana.gov.in.
