Anna University, Chennai, will release the official notification for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2025 on January 19, 2025. The notification will be available on the university's official website: http://tancet.annauniv.edu/tancet/. TANCET is conducted annually for students seeking admission to postgraduate courses like MBA, MCA, and M.E./M.Tech in Tamil Nadu colleges.

Registration Process

Once the notification is released, candidates can access the application form through the official website. The application process involves registration, form filling, document upload, and fee payment.

Steps to Register:

1. Visit http://tancet.annauniv.edu/tancet/.


2. Click on “TANCET Application Form 2025.”


3. Register with personal details like name, date of birth, and email.


4. Use the credentials sent to your email to log in.


5. Complete the application form and upload the required documents, including a passport-size photo and signature.


6. Pay the application fee online or offline.


7. Verify all details and submit the form.


8. Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.

Exam Details

TANCET is an offline, pen-and-paper-based test lasting 120 minutes. It comprises five sections:
