Students, edtechs urge govt to investigate alleged irregularities in NEET UG 2024, re-conduct exam

Soon after the release of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) results by the National Testing  Agency (NTA), students have alleged serious irregularities and discrepancies in the assessment methods casting doubts over the integrity of the prestigious medical entrance examinations.

Various students took to social media to question how a total of 67 students scored a perfect score of 720 out of 720, while others highlighted that they had received different marks on their scorecards compared to their OMR sheets.

There have been some issues regarding some grace marks and extra time as well.

According to PTI, a group of candidates have moved to the Supreme Court seeking a fresh NEET-UG, 2024 examination. The plea, which was filed on June 1 through lawyer Usha Nandini V, may be listed before a vacation bench this week.
