The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) cancelled the results of 22 candidates for unfair means, while 13 were disqualified for malpractice. Additionally, a data breach affected the personal information of approximately 1.38 lakh aspirants.

The Supreme Court intervened, ensuring that the NEET PG 2025 exam was conducted in a single shift on August 3. Around 2.4 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, with Pooshan Mohapatra securing the top rank.
