FMGE Results 2025: Around 70% Failed – What to Do If You Didn't Qualify FMGE?

The FMGE 2024 results have been declared, and unfortunately, many candidates have not cleared the exam. This can be a challenging time, but it is important to remember that options are available and that this setback does not necessarily define your future.

The recent Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) saw a significant failure rate, with approximately 70% of the 44,390 candidates unable to pass. This exam is crucial for foreign medical graduates seeking to practice medicine in India.

While 45,550 candidates registered, a substantial majority (31,236) failed to meet the minimum passing score. Only 13,149 candidates (29.62%) were successful. Although this represents the highest pass percentage in the last three sessions, it still falls short of the 32.21% achieved in December 2022.
