The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for CSIR UGC NET December 2024 today, March 11, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check and download the answer key and their response sheets from the official website - csirnet.nta.ac.in.
The NTA has also opened the objection window, allowing candidates to challenge the answer key if they find any discrepancies. Candidates can raise objections from March 11 to March 14, 2025, until 11.50 PM.
How to Download and Challenge CSIR UGC NET 2025 Provisional Answer Key
- Go to the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in.
- On the homepage, click on the link “Joint CSIR-UGC NET DEC-2024: Click Here to Answer Key Challenge”.
- Enter your application number and date of birth to log in.
- After logging in, the provisional answer key will appear on the screen. Download and review it carefully.
- To challenge any question, click on the ‘Challenge’ button.
- Each question will display an ID in the “Correct Option” column, which is the answer selected by NTA. To challenge, select the checkbox next to the correct option ID you believe is right.
- Upload supporting documents as proof for your objection by clicking on the ‘Choose File’ button.
- Click ‘Submit and Review Your Claims’ to check the list of all questions you have challenged.
- Pay Rs 200 per question as an objection fee and download the confirmation page for future reference.
Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key until March 14, 2025 (11.50 PM) by paying a fee of Rs 200 per question. While raising objections, candidates must provide proper evidence to support their claims. All objections will be carefully reviewed by subject experts, and if any are found valid, the necessary corrections will be made in the final answer key. The CSIR UGC NET 2025 result will be declared based on this final answer key.
The CSIR UGC NET 2025 exam was conducted from February 28 to March 2, 2025, in 326 centres across 164 cities. A total of 2,38,451 candidates appeared for the exam, which was held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
