CLAT 2025 Exam Date: The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 will be conducted on Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM. The official notification by the Executive Committee and the Governing Body of the Consortium of National Law Universities (the “Consortium”) was released on May 6, 2024, stating that the CLAT 2025 entrance examination will be conducted on December 01, 2024.

CLAT 2024 Syllabus and Exam Pattern
There were some changes introduced in the CLAT 2024 syllabus and exam pattern. The CLAT 2024 UG question paper comprised 120 questions instead of 150 questions as in previous years. Candidates had 2 hours to complete the test, as in previous years. The 120 questions were organised into five sections, that is, English Language, Current Affairs Including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques.
CLAT UG 2024 Overview
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for undergraduate programs in 2024 was conducted in offline mode on December 3, 2023. The examination comprised 120 multiple-choice questions, all comprehension-based, across five subjects: English Language, Current Affairs including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. Each correct answer contributed to the total of 120 marks available, with a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response. The test duration was set at 120 minutes.
The results of the CLAT UG 2024 were released on December 10, 2023. The top score achieved in the examination was 108 out of 120, secured by Jai Bohara, making him the top performer of this session. Following closely, Pradyot Shah attained the All India Rank (AIR) 2 with a score of 99.99, and Rahul Palakurthy was ranked third.
CLAT UG 2023 Overview
The CLAT 2023 UG examination was held on December 18, 2022, from 2 PM to 4 P. It was conducted in offline mode featuring 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) based on comprehension. Each question was structured to assess knowledge across five key subjects: English Language, Current Affairs including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. The exam allowed a 2-hour duration for completion, with each correct answer scored towards a total of 150 possible marks, and incorrect responses penalized with a 0.25 mark deduction. The results were declared swiftly by December 23, 2022, with candidates accessing their scorecards online. Notably, Abhinav Somani achieved the highest score with 116.75 marks, followed by Sahil Gupta with an AIR 2 score of 112, and Shubham Thakare at AIR 3. In the SC category, Gnanankit led with 94.5 marks.
