The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released the short notification for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET-9) for the year 2025. The announcement was published on 22nd July 2025 in the employment newspaper. This exam is held for the recruitment of Nursing Officers across various AIIMS institutions, including AIIMS Delhi.

Exam Pattern and Selection Process
AIIMS NORCET 9 will be conducted in two stages, a Preliminary exam (CBT 1) and a Main exam (CBT 2). Both exams will be computer-based.

- 100 multiple-choice questions
- Total marks: 100
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Negative marking: 1/3 mark for every wrong answer
Only those who qualify in the Preliminary exam will be eligible to appear for the Main exam. Final selection will be based on the performance in both stages.
Application Process for AIIMS NORCET 9
Candidates will need to apply online for the NORCET 9 exam. The application link will be activated on the official AIIMS exam website. Here’s how to apply:

- Click on the NORCET-9 link under the “Important Announcements” section on the homepage.
- Register online by providing your basic details such as name, mobile number, and email ID. Login credentials will be generated upon successful registration.
- Fill in the application form with personal, educational, and experience details.
- Upload required documents
- Pay the application fee through debit card, credit card, or net banking.
Application Fee
The fee structure for different categories is as follows:
- General/OBC: Rs 3000
- SC/ST/EWS: Rs 2400
- PwD candidates are exempted from the fee
After submitting the form, candidates should take a printout of the confirmation page and payment receipt for future reference.
Eligibility Criteria
