The Homoeopathy Education Board (HEB) has announced a reduction in the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2024 cut-off for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates. According to the latest official notice, the qualifying percentile for SC and ST candidates has been lowered by 5 percent.
Previously, the cut-off for each category had already been reduced by 15 percentile. The revised cut-off for the general category is set at 35%, while for SC and ST candidates, it has now been fixed at 20%.
In addition to the cut-off reduction, the HEB has extended the deadline for admissions to the Homoeopathy PG courses across all categories. The original deadline, set for December 31, 2024, has now been moved to January 13, 2025. The official notification stated, “The cut-off date for admission in the PG course of Homoeopathy has also been extended from 31.12.2024 to 13.01.2025 across all categories.”
This extension allows candidates more time to complete the admission process. Authorities have been directed to implement the necessary steps, including registration and counselling, in line with the revised schedule to ensure smooth execution.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the AIAPGET 2024 exam on July 6, 2024, with 40,123 candidates registered and 37,980 attending. The results were released on August 1, 2024. The AIAPGET 2024 counselling process was carried out in three rounds: Round 1, Round 2, and the Stray Vacancy Round, which concluded on December 19. The AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) managed the counselling process.
