A shocking video from Noida’s Amrapali Golf Homes Society has gone viral, showing security guards brutally assaulting a woman inside the premises, News18 reported. The disturbing video of the incident, which has gone viral on social media, has sparked outrage among residents in the high-rise apartments.
The clip captured some guards of a housing society physically assaulting a woman after she came out in support of fellow residents. According to a report by The Times of India, it all started around 10.30 pm when two residents, Arjun and Abhishek, attempted to enter the residential complex through the exit gate in their car.
Security guards on duty, identified as Gautam Singh from Kanpur and Satyam Shukla from Hardoi, objected to their entry and asked them to use the designated entry gate instead. The residents, however, insisted on driving in through the exit, and soon the argument turned heated, followed by a scuffle between the two sides.
What started as a verbal argument soon turned violent, with several guards seen manhandling and repeatedly beating the woman. Four people — two residents and two security guards — were arrested in connection with the incident.
Adding to the tension, locals claimed that thefts and other petty crimes have been increasing within the society over the past few months, raising serious questions about the management’s role in ensuring safety and accountability, the report added.
ADCP (Central Noida) Shavya Goyal was quoted by TOI as saying that FIRs were registered on the basis of complaints from both groups. "A fight broke out between residents and security guards over a wrong-side entry. On the basis of complaints, two guards — Gautam Singh and Satyam Shukla — and two residents — Arjun and Abhishek — were arrested," she said.
Police officials said further investigation is underway to establish the sequence of events and assess if more charges need to be added.
