The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert, forecasting rain and thunderstorms in Delhi, Noida, and other parts of the National Capital Region (NCR) on Tuesday.

The sky is expected to stay partly cloudy throughout the day. Strong winds blowing at 40–50 km/h and even reaching up to 60 km/h during thunderstorms, are likely in the evening or night. The maximum temperature for the day is expected to be around 35 degrees Celsius, News24 reported.

The IMD also predicts that this rainy spell will continue for the rest of the week. Here's a breakdown of the forecast for the coming days:

June 18: Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely. The sky will remain cloudy, and the temperature is expected to reach up to 36 degrees Celsius. A yellow alert for rain has been issued.
