Nissan Magnite gets 10-year extended warranty plan

Nissan Motor India has launched a 10-year extended warranty plan for the Nissan Magnite, a first in the B-SUV segment (less than 4 metres in length). The plan follows the model's recent Global NCAP 5-star overall passenger safety rating.

The new warranty program is applicable for vehicles with a standard 3-year warranty, starting with the Magnite launched in October 2024. Customers can choose from multiple warranty options, including 3+7, 3+4, 3+3, 3+2, and 3+1 years, allowing flexibility in coverage duration. The full 10-year plan covers up to 2 lakh km at an estimated cost of 22 paise per km or Rs 12 per day.

The coverage includes comprehensive protection for seven years, with engine and transmission coverage in the eighth, ninth, and tenth years. The plan provides cashless repairs at Nissan-authorised workshops, with no limit on the number or value of claims, and guarantees the use of genuine parts.

Eligibility is limited to privately owned Nissan Magnite SUVs within the standard warranty period. The plan is not available for the previous version with a two-year standard warranty sold before October 2024. It can be purchased at the time of buying the vehicle or before the expiry of the standard warranty from authorised dealers.
