Karnataka's Nandini to roll out AI-based product counting solution

Karnataka Milk Federation’s (KMF) flagship brand Nandini is set to roll out an artificial intelligence (AI)-based product counting solution across select dairy units to automate the tracking of milk and milk product crates.

The AI-based system will be implemented at Bengaluru Dairy, Kanakapura Dairy and Hosakote Dairy, which together handle a significant share of milk packing and dispatch operations under Bengaluru Milk Union Limited (BAMUL).

BAMUL, one of the largest dairy cooperatives in South India, is responsible for the procurement, processing, packing and distribution of milk and milk products, catering to a wide consumer base while supporting thousands of dairy farmers across the region.
