Information technology major Infosys has executed over 2,500 Generative AI (Gen AI) and more than 200 Agentic AI projects for global clients.
During the company’s Q2 FY26 earnings call on October 16, Chief Delivery Officer Satish HC said that clients are now scaling AI implementations beyond pilot phases to drive tangible business outcomes.
“Across our portfolio, we have delivered more than 2,500 Gen AI projects and over 200 agentic AI projects for our clients,” Satish said. He added that enterprises are embedding AI across modernisation, digital, and automation programmes, supported by Infosys’s AI platform Topaz and proprietary small language models.
Infosys has built four Small Language Models (SLMs) for use within its own business.
In July, the Bengaluru-headquartered firm said its deployment of Agentic AI solutions has delivered 5-15 percent productivity gains for clients. The company has also deployed AI agents internally.
Satish cited an example of a logistics client where Infosys’s AI-driven real-time data platform processes 400 million messages per day, resulting in $1.5 million in savings and a 12 percent reduction in call volumes.
Infosys developers have produced more than 25 million lines of code using Gen AI. “Our multi-agent invoice automation solution alone unlocked $50 million in incremental cash flow, directly improving our free cash flow conversion,” he added.
Moreover, 10 percent of the company’s workforce are now “AI builders”. CEO Salil Parekh reiterated that Infosys’s deep expertise in large-scale enterprise modernisation gives it an edge in deploying AI across complex client environments.
