Four people have been arrested in the UK after images of US President Donald Trump and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were projected onto Windsor Castle ahead of the president’s state visit.

The protest was carried out by the activist group Led by Donkeys, known for its viral political stunts. The group displayed a video montage for several minutes on one of the castle’s towers on Tuesday night.
Protesters targeted the royal residence as Trump arrived in the UK, broadcasting pictures of the president alongside Epstein.

Other images projected onto Windsor Castle included Trump’s 2023 mugshot from his indictment in Georgia over efforts to overturn the 2020 election, along with portraits of Epstein, newspaper headlines, and footage of the two men dancing together.

The political campaign group Led By Donkeys shared a photo of the stunt on Instagram with the caption, “Hey Donald, welcome to Windsor Castle.”

Thames Valley Police said four people were arrested on suspicion of malicious communications. Chief Superintendent Felicity Parker said: “We take any unauthorised activity around Windsor Castle extremely seriously. Our officers responded swiftly to stop the projection and four people have been arrested. We are conducting a thorough investigation with our partners into the circumstances surrounding this incident and will provide further updates when we are in a position to do so.”
