It appears that X users are still facing issues or have started facing issues while accessing the social media platform. This suggests that the Social media platform X (formerly Twitter) appears to have gone down again for the third time in two days. The outage tracking platform Downdetector has also received several new reports that reflects in the outage report spike graph.
Fresh spike in outage reports
According to Downdetector, outage reports surged again on March 11, 2025, with over 40,000 users flagging issues at its peak. As per the latest data, 60% of affected users reported problems with the app, 29% faced issues with the website, and 11% encountered server connection errors.
At 4:18 PM IST today, over 1,600 new reports have been recorded globally, indicating a persistent disruption. Downdetector’s outage graph showed multiple spikes, suggesting recurring issues throughout the day.
Previous outage within 24 hours
This is the second major disruption in less than a day. On March 10, 2025, X suffered a similar outage around 3:20 PM IST, with over 19,000 reports globally and 2,600 from India. A second spike occurred around 7:00 PM IST, impacting thousands of users. The platform appeared to recover briefly before reports of a fresh outage started emerging again.
Users face access issues
Moneycontrol checked the platform and encountered the error message: “Something went wrong. Try reloading.” Several users have reported similar issues, with some unable to load posts, send messages, or access notifications. While some regions have seen partial service restoration, others continue to face disruptions.
