Pirates of the Caribbean is coming to Fortnite this July

Battle royale game Fortnite is getting a Pirates of the Caribbean crossover in July. The Fortnite-and-Pirates of the Caribbean crossover news leaked when credible Fortnite leaker Hypex posted a related image on social media platform X. The image had Fortnite skins of Pirates of the Caribbean franchise characters Davy Jones, Hector Barbossa and Elizabeth Swann. The image also featured a few swords, and Back Bling from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.

Other Pirates of the Caribbean-themed items like 'Ship in the Bottle', a Jack Sparrow 'Jar of Dirt' emote and even the Pirates of the Caribbean Event Pass Showcase were revealed. As per the leaks, the Ship in the Bottle is "a cursed ship trapped in a bottle. Open it to unleash the ship from its ghostly depths, diving into your opponents with a devastating crash!"

Epic Games later confirmed that the Fortnite and Pirates of the Caribbean crossover is happening, indeed. The crossover starts July 19.
