Honor’s Win series is scheduled to launch in China later this week, and the lineup is confirmed to feature two smartphones, the Honor Win and Honor Win RT. The brand has already teased many features of these upcoming devices and also revealed their design. While the standard model is confirmed to feature a triple rear camera unit, the RT model will get dual cameras on the back.
Honor Win series: Expected specifications, features
As already revealed by the brand, both the Honor Win and Honor Win RT smartphones will be the industry’s first to come with a 10,000 mAh battery, much higher than the HONOR X70, which came with an 8,300 mAh battery. The lineup will also feature the brand’s Dongfeng Turbine Cooler that comes with 25,000 RPM. This built-in cooling fan improves heat dissipation and will provide improved performance and thermal management during gaming or other intensive tasks.
Further, in a post on Weibo, Chinese tipster Panda is Bald claims that the vanilla Honor Win will feature a 50MP Sony LYT700 primary camera paired with a 12MP secondary shooter and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, offering 3x optical zoom capabilities. Meanwhile, the Honor Win RT is tipped to be equipped with the same main and secondary rear cameras, and would not likely include a telephoto sensor. Both phones could also sport a 50MP front-facing camera.
Additionally, the series will offer a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, offering instant unlocking in just 0.14 seconds. These phones will also come with IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. On the performance side, the top-end Honor Win is confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Both phones will be launched on December 26 in China.
