Apple’s Let Loose event saw a lot of action around new iPads. Amidst the noise around iPad Pro and iPad Air, one older model has been discontinued. Apple’s 9th-generation iPad — which was the entry level model — has now been discontinued. As a result, the 10th-gen iPad is now the entry-level model in India.
The 10th-generation iPad was launched in October 2022 at Rs 44,900. Now, the iPad’s price has been slashed by Rs 10,000 as it is officially listed at Rs 34,900 on Apple’s Online Store. The 9th-gen iPad was priced at a similar point but now stands discontinued.
The 10th-gen iPad packs the A14 Bionic chip and features a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display. The iPad features a 12MP Ultra Wide front camera with Center Stage. It also supports the first-generation Apple Pencil. Storage options range from 64GB to 256 GB. Apple’s iPad line up in India
Apple now has four different iPads across different price range. The iPad Pro and the iPad Air were unveiled at the Let Loose event. The iPad Pro starts at Rs 99,900 whereas the new iPad Air starts at Rs 59,900. There’s also the iPad mini which starts at Rs 49,900.
The iPad accessories lineup has also been refreshed with the addition of the all-new Magic Keyboard and the Pencil Pro. The Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro starts at Rs 29,900 whereas the Apple Pencil Pro is available for Rs 11,900. The new iPad models and accessories are now available for pre-orders and will be available for purchase from May 15.
