Sachin Tendulkar touched with PV Sindhu's gesture before wedding, check guest list

PV Sindhu is all set to tie the knot with fiance Venkata Datta Sai, who is the Executive Director of Hyderabad based Posidex Technologies, later this month. The wedding will take place in Udaipur on December 22 and two days the families will throw a grand reception in Hyderabad. The schedule has been decided in a way to allow Sindhu return to the international circuit in January.

Weeks ahead of the wedding, the ace shuttler along with fiance Venkata dropped at Sachin Tendulkar's home to personally invite the batting icon for the big day. Tendulkar even gave fans a first glimpse of Sindhu's wedding card and penned a heartfelt note for the new couple in town.

Making a reference to badminton, a sport in which Sindhu has claimed two Olympic medals, Tendulkar in a post on X wrote: "In badminton, the score always starts with 'love', and your beautiful journey with Venkata Datta Sai ensures it continues with 'love' forever! Thank you for personally inviting us to be a part of your big day. Wishing you both a lifetime of smashing memories & endless rallies of joy!"

Apart from Tendulkar, Sindhu personally invited a host of politicians for the wedding. The photos of the meeting were shared on social media and reposted on Sindhu's official X account. The guest list includes Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, among others.
